It gets old being by yourself on the roof or in a mechanical room all day ?
Get into refrigeration, and work for a company that does work at restaurants.
Working in a kitchen and dealing with all the cooks and managers will make you wish you where on a roof or in a mechanical room by yourself.

I like it that way because I always end up hating any type of normal job where I have to work in the same place with the same people everyday. Never have that problem in a hot attic.
The "no witnesses" thing is nice sometimes too.

We have freedom because somebody fought for it.
We keep it because we are willing to fight for it.
We lose it because we are not willing to fight for it.
Why would you want to work with other people... The days where start to finish I don't talk to a single person and just get to listen to music and fix machines are my favorites. That's what I don't get about guys complaining about PM's, give me a rooftop thats got me checking equipment for 2 days and I'm happy.
That's what I like about this site, it's purpose driven, people get to the point and I read your posts at my discretion, I don't have to listen to you talk : ).
I talk to myself on jobs. Some folks think it strange...I dont.
Sink or swim....that's how I like it. Builds character as well.
The voices in my head are all the company I need.
