Get into refrigeration, and work for a company that does work at restaurants.

Working in a kitchen and dealing with all the cooks and managers will make you wish you where on a roof or in a mechanical room by yourself.

You mean like today changing a compresser in a busy kitchen. Or maybe yesterday changing an ice machine and the head chief saying when do I get ice? Never lonely though. Another good thing, I know where they hide the coffee.

It's not so bad if you hate people.

I like it that way because I always end up hating any type of normal job where I have to work in the same place with the same people everyday. Never have that problem in a hot attic.

Yeah, if I had to work in an office all day, with the same people every day, there would eventually be a news story about a mass workplace shooting in Texas, or a string of mysterious deaths.

Did he have the full headdress and everything?

I tell them they'll have ice within a half hour of when im done. It may not be ALL the ice youre looking for, but it will be ice.

You took the words out of my mouth. Working alone is one of the reasons i prefer service to installation.

Why would you want to work with other people... The days where start to finish I don't talk to a single person and just get to listen to music and fix machines are my favorites. That's what I don't get about guys complaining about PM's, give me a rooftop thats got me checking equipment for 2 days and I'm happy.

That's what I like about this site, it's purpose driven, people get to the point and I read your posts at my discretion, I don't have to listen to you talk : ).
