Hope all are well.
Cold here after that nice warm 75 we had thurs into friday. Been chilly but really windy here at the beach. Suppose to go back to mid 50's this week.
None of the local companies are hiring since we have not had a cold winter. I just hope it warms up fast. Talked to my brother today and he knows someone out Raleigh way with his own company. I need to shout out to him I think. Who knows.. I may cause Bret tomove back out to Denver if I move out that way!!! LOL

I got an email Thur night that a really good friend that helped my get my life back on track 25 years ago (in fact the only 'friend' that visited me in prison) has less than a week to live and then I got a facebook message about 30 minutes after that ..... Tony Berlin, love him or hate him, he was a helluva knowledgeable guy from HVACProTech, died and was being buried on Friday.

Tomorrow may never come and yesterday is but a memory, but today is a present....enjoy it.

Cub Scout Blue and Gold banquet this weekend. Our big awards ceremony.

My oldest boy isn't a Cubbie any more! He crossed into Boy Scouts last night.

Also has a buddy sleep over last night, so the fun never stops.


Now, we just got word that a friend's home burnt down this evening, so we're trying to find ways to help them.

Doug - I didn't know him at all, but I am thankful that he helped you, and was a good steward of this knowledge of the trade.

JP, glad you are able to help that family. We had a major fire back in the 80's, and it was a great neighbor that let us live in their house while they were in Europe as ours was being rebuilt.

Julie has rescheduled her shoulder surgery for this Thursday, and is getting blood beforehand to raise her h&h.

I'm doing a major store survey today with a lot of pictures and other minutia that concerns bean counters, for a new store location.

Dick Bell and I go back 30 years....used to fly RC Planes with him and his son. His son is now a A340 pilot for ACanada.
Dick has got stomach cancer....3 or 4 tumours wrapped around all of his organs and it has metastasized into his lymph system. Chemo just shut down his kidneys....he will likely die this week of renal failure....
