Keep in mind that a lot of old cut off valves do not hold. That PRV could still be bad or not sat at the right pressure. They are usually sat at 12 pounds. We do raise the pressure on multi story bildings. The Extrol 30 should take care of the system. What size was the old expansion tank? (30 Gal.?) If there is a hole in the tankless heater just replace it with a water heater. Then the boiler does not need to run in the summer time.

Well, I got my Buderus G115WS boiler, Logamatic 2107 and matching ST-150 indirect fired hot water tank installed Monday.
They weren't kidding, it's an all day affair from 7:30AM to around 6PM.
I was not able to use the Honeywell digital round thermostat so went with a Honeywell FocusPRO 5000 series.
Only one tiny leak and that was fixed with a tightening of the water tank drain spigot.
So far so good. System is quieter and runs less (saving money I hope). Nice clean install.
Any Logamatic tweaking tips?

Pictures...
Here's some quick pictures I took with my cell phone (sorry not that sharp).
The old 55 year old American Standard Arcoliner and the new Buderus G115WS & ST-150 indirect hot water tank.
Still need to paint around flue patching and repaint floor.
Let me know if you want to see anything more specific and please give your input.

Looks great and you should be happy with the system as well as you were with the installer

May I ask why you decided on the Buderus over the Energy Kinetics system? I'm in a similar situation as you.

I'd give some serious thought to more conventional and American made products before I'd spend thousands more than what is needed. The Buderus is nice, but very pricey, especially when the Logamatic is utilized with it. Put another way, the steep price for that equipment will take too long, if ever, to give any payback. Go price a motor for a Riello, or an ignitor, you'll be shocked .
I prefer setback thermostats to provide some 'intelligent' fuel savings, rather than most expensive Logamatic.
Give a good look at the Peerless WBV-03, Energy Star rated, easy to service, all American made too, of course. It's not a 3 pass, but you can't beat simplicity and convenience........and reliability .

While doing my research online, I couldn't find one bad thing said about Buderus (maybe price was the only thing negative if that's what you want to call it).
I did read good and not so good issues with Energy Kinetics.
Between the three systems I was looking at (Burnham MPO, System 2000 and Buderus G115WS), prices in my area between different HVAC companies were very close. So my decision was not based on price, it was based on what would be the least troublesome.
