It was a carry-over from using analog gauges.

When measuring a pressure differential, it's best to use the same gauge.

This was a quick easy method to measure pressure difference using the same gauge.

Hook up across a filter, open the handwheel, open or close ballvalves as needed.

I've found them to be unnecessary and they now sit in a drawer.

After taking some measurements off the guy I work with,I realized the Titan manifold that I have 410 gauges on looks like it will lineup perfectly. I hate the handles on it so I was thinking of putting my yj 41 handles on it. Anyone pulled off a stunt like that?

Yep the yj 41 handles work great on it... I don't have one on my evac valve though. I ran out of handles.

And yes the titan lines up perfectly.

I like the J/b handles and put them on. FWIW the new titans have different handles.

I ordered my 1200 direct from DC and didn't pay any "conversion fees"

it's not a DC issue it's a Bank of America issue. If you own a BoA card they now charge you a fee to purchace items from out of the country suppliers. Total BS

    Ah-HA!

That would happen exactly ONE time around here.

The card would be cancelled and either my wife or myself would rudely suggest where BofA could insert it.

I am not sure how I feel about this... ordered direct from DC on the 15th.
I send an email today to find out if there is any updates to the order, when it shipped, tracking info because I never received any. Ya know the normal stuff, get a reply (very quickly i might add) saying I was over charged in shipping and for taxes and I was provided a tracking number (customs number for USPS) and a paypal refund for the over charge(great).
Here is where it has me a bit upset, I track the package and it was created today... at the time I inquired about the order. Someone screwed up, didn't do their job. The item hasn't even left the building and it's been almost two weeks. Very poor and shameful, I just hope the actual product is better than the service so far. Now I will have to wait most likely another two weeks before it shows up or longer because customs sucks.

I'm wondering if it will ship. As you mentioned the back order problem. But I wasn't told there would be a delay in shipping. Granted the label could have been created but the unit doesn't ship till the back orders are filled. I'm just dissapointed in the communication I guess. An email two weeks ago saying there was a back order would help if that was the issue.
