I ended up near Welland, but the rest were all over the Niagara region.

Yes the 2010 convention will be in Southold, New York.

I would think next year i will have no reason to not come. I hope it was a blast this year.

Depends on what you are expecting. If you enjoy the company of good people whose main link to one another is either being HVAC geeks on the Internet or being a spouse or significant other of an HVAC geek on the Internet, and you like to socialize with people who sometimes get a little bawdy, it's definitely worth it.
If you are looking to learn about HVAC, naahhh
