I've been afraid to watch it. Seems that Hollywood is making claims that any time there is a male oriented group or even a couple of guys going fishing, hunting or camping, that they must be homos.

Just didn't want to see "a few good men" doing a few nasty things.

Robo doesn't believe this, but 85% of the military now thinks we need to set a timetable for pulling out of Iraq. Many of them are not as enthused about that place as you might think.

Why don't you watch the flying leathernecks or the Sands of Iwo Jima or Wake Island? Try watching Dr.Strangelove or how I learned to love the bomb. (One of the most accurate combat scenes as they approach the base)

The guy who works for me was there then,and was a Marine and he says it was pretty accurate. AND DULL

The only reason I don't believe it is because 100% of the military persons who have been Iraq that I have talked with all say we need to finish the job, that what the media feeds us is about 1/100th of what is going on and we are getting none of the reality of the good we are doing.

Was there in 90 Robo. Your right the medias slanted version of opinions is constant. But where is your premise of "their" opinions coming from?

They can't tell us what they really feel. You know they can't break rank. When the camera is on, or when they think someone is listening, all soldiers will say that. But deep in their hearts they want to be back here. Enlisting to protect our country is not why all are in the service. that is a small percentage. Most have a need the military is giving them, because they do not have the same oportunities here. And who thought they would go to war when they signed, the recruiters sure won't tell them that.
I really admire and support all of our troops, I think everyone on this or any other site agrees. It's the premise of this situation that won't go away. And I'm a repub.... but barely!

Is to blanket nuke the crap out of the area. You for one have stated before that you don't have the stomach for that. You and other BUSHDROIDS would rather have our troops killed off one by one. That doesn't make sense.
