Replacement Pressure Tap on Burner Box

    Hello,
I'm trying to identify the correct replacement pressure tap for the burner box on a York P2UD.

I've done a bit a searching and don't see anything.

Any suggestions on how to identify this part and purchase it?

    Thanks in advance.

Well...I'm troubleshooting the furnace and the troubleshooting table says..."Check for loose hoses or loose pressure tap on burner box."

I presume that there is supposed to be a pressure tap that allows me to connect the hose from the pressure switch to the burner box. There isn't any pressure tap there...there is only a loose piece of plastic to which the hose is attached and it is kind of stuck up into the burner box. It looks like the piece of plastic may be the remnant of what is supposed to be the pressure tap.

So...I'm trying to replace what should be the pressure tap...

    Is that crazy?
    Thanks,

The tap that the hose attaches to on the burner box.
Right now there is just a hole (1/4 inch diameter about) in the bottom of the burner box.

I've actually got a new pressure switch in there because I had one, but I don't really think the old one was bad.

You can use a brass barbed fitting from hardware store.

Or you can call a technician who knows what he's doing. DIY is not a smart thing to try with gas furnaces. JMO.
