Now that I am seriously considering the installation of a 2 stage, variable speed HVAC system, I was wondering if there are any brands of thermostats that work well with, or are specifically designed for these type of units?? Home Depot/Lowes have the typical Honeywell/housebrand stuff, but are there any other well known and dependable brands out there for me to take a look at?? I don't need anything too exotic, just something with a reasonable amount of features that would compliment the system and provide maximum efficiency. I'm in the Philadelphia area, so any well known brand should be easy to find.
Thanks
Vince D.

The new 80 series are pretty good too. If your looking for something simple and effective. Not bad for the price. I wouldn't buy one from a box store.
