Long time reader, now active member

Thought I would say hello. I have been a member since 09-13-2010. I have decided to start on a career change. The IT jobs are not coming back here any time soon. I have over a year commercial electrical experience. We handled service upgrades, fire alarm, building additions and RTU rough in and hookup for a local school district. Jobs dried up as other contractors were going bankrupt. Hopefully a third career attempt will be one that will have a future.

I met some nice guys on Youtube and chatted with them. Also seen some work on there I would not put my name to.

I will be starting school in January with a local college. I will not get into the union, non union argument.

I will keep reading and learn what I can.

It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.
