What's cooking for Christmas.
Job #1. Every year we have a company clam bake. With the left overs I make stuffed clams. (aka Clams Casino). I freeze them. For our shop Christmas party I put them in the microwave. They go great with beer while we play poker.
Job #2. No matter what the weather I'll be out on the deck deep frying a turkey. I'm probably the only idiot in the State of Vermont standing out in the cold cooking a turkey on Christmas morning.
Job #3. On New Year's Eve we have another shop party. Every year I make my world fameous (and parts of Bennington) chili dogs. I get good dogs made by MacKensie and of course we only have New England hot dog rolls.
Job #4. New Years DAY we have a family reunion at our house. I'm doing a spiral ham. Also I make an dynomite antipasta salad that people seem to like.
Mary Lou does every thing else. Twice baked potatoes, Harvard beets and green bean caserol.
