On the flipside you could have the guy that you swear is paid per zip tie he puts in. That I can't stand.
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

So why not use "lacing twine" the good looking alternative? We trained many employees how to use it, but tie wraps are in now...
(Time and cost constraints)...
