I just had installed a Burnham MPO-IQ147 bolier with an Alliance SL Hydrastone SL indirect water heater (AL50SL) and am having two problems with the water:

First, water coming out of the shower head and faucets has a smell to it. It's hard to describe (not a bad egg smell) but almost like chlorine but worse.

Second, when we take a shower, the water leaves your hair very clumpy, as if you put a cup of conditioner in your hair and didn't rinse it out.

The installation was done by our oil company. I reported the problem to them and they came out and "flushed out" the tank. But the problem remains.

I appreciate your input and guidance on this. Apart from the inconvenience of this, we're afraid to drink the water. I'm concerned that there may be something harmful in it.

Thanks
