    WOW!!!

Just when you thought you've seen it all.
We've been doing so much, for so long, with so little, that now we can do almost anything, with nothing at all.

Wow, I'd like to know the story behind that.

On the plus side, think of all the over-time it creates.

I can't figure out how the elbow of that thing got where it is while going in the direction it was going.

That a great example of hydrolics. What happens is the bouncing of the hydrolics while in transit foams up the oil and it slowly starts to expand. The driver or who ever is supposed to secure it. So while the driver is driving on his merry way, the arm or boom or whatever slowly rises and wham! It looks to me that it hooked the bridge and the forward momentum of the thing forced the arm up and through the bridge, pretty cool. Now, try and think of what was going through the minds of the truck driver and all the people driving on the bridge at that very moment.

I've operated large boom trucks that have interlocks that pervent the vehicle from moving if the boom isn't secured and locked in place. I would think this equipment would have the same.

Wonder if any automobiles were on the overpass when this happened. Someone could have been killed.

Anyone have a link to this story?

Looks to me like he got stuck under the bridge, then tried to back out from under it when the elbow was driven up through the roadway.
