    can anyone tell me what the r value is on duct work for tenn and kentucky thanks

    R 4.5 or 2" in conditioned area and R 8 or 3" in unconditioned.

    TN requires insulation in conditioned spaces

    I think it is smart, given the possibility or probability of condensation BUT I am suprised they require it
    By the way, 1 inch ductboard is R 4.2 nom 5
