    Here are a few condensate drain problems that I recently found.....

    First one....Main and Aux tied together like 10 ft away from the air handler......Trap was outside.... I see this ALL the time....It gets old...

    Second one both drains going uphill at outside wall causing a double trap..... A real pleasure to find a year after house was insulated, etc etc.

    Is that pipe being pushed down by that gas line? And should be insulated in the attic here in FL

    They also have the liquid line up against the nail plate. Almost guarnteed to transmit noise into the wall. It could also cause a refrigerant leak.
    If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

    yeah that liquid line will be a fun leak to find someday....QUALITY!!

    Got to love cookie cutter tract housing!


    I haven't seen a single (attic) condensate drain done PROPERLY since I've been to the Phoenix area.

    Th esecondary should be ran over a door or window by itself. Never seen it in Phoenix. But we did it where I was previsouly.
