Aaon with a Honeywell t-stat
Looking at a AAON heat/cool rtu that won't run in heating mode. The t-stat is a Honeywell T7350m1008 which is now obsolete according to Honeywell.
The wholesale is no help....they can't cross-reference it.....anybody?
Modulating output thermostat. I buy these in a communicating version all the time. If you can't find one locally pm me. I can hook you up with my distributor.
In reality you could probably use any modulating stat.
Viconics and many others make modulating stats.
Are you sure it is a thermostat problem?
Google returned a gazillion for sale on line.

VICEMAN......thanks for your help.
Even if the unit has a modulating burner it should heat on a call for W1 from a regular stat. As long as it's a model with a terminal strip and stand alone mod gas board. You just have to set your discharge reset dip switches to your desired discharge air temp. If it's a Wattsmaster system you'd have to connect to the forced heating input on the board and necessary programming done via a handheld or system manager. Essentially on a call for heat the burner comes on and if it's not receiving a modulating signal from the stat it will see that as a 0 VDC signal and fire to whatever your reset on the mod gas board is set to, you reset limit is basically not used. Clear as mud??
