I'm looking to buy a new HVAC system. Presently it isn't an emergency. Is this a good time or do the manufacturers routinely run spring sales? Not sure if HVAC business has become like the auto business.
Buy when slow which likely is now. Sure is here in Indy and with the mild weather everyone is having, I bet Georgia is too. Don't wait til there is any warmth in the air, all incentives for a lower price will be gone, as we will have plenty of calls!
Thanks BaldLoonie. You wouldn't happen to know the expected useful life of an HVAC system? I recognize that maintenance, location, etc., can have a huge factor. I'm thinking 16 years on the furnace (in crawl space) and 19 years on the A/C isn't bad
loonie is correct, now is the time to purchase a new system.considering we havnt had much of a winter a lot of companies are offering good prices.also if your looking for central ac the prices will be a lot higher this summer due to the raising of the minumum seer units from 10 seer to 13 seer.as far as age goes your equipment is in its golden years.thanks
New ... install in the Spring !
The useful life has passed.

When is the time to buy?
When you have the $$$ and before the unit fails.
Try to install on April 26th.
