Skuttle F60-1 Steam Humidifier Problem
What's going on here?:

Humidifier runs everytime there is a call for heat. The return relative humidity is 48% (about the same in the living space) and the outdoor air temp is average 55-60 (automatic setting.... same happens when set to manual mode). This is the second issue with this unit, at first it ran constantly due to an out of the box bad current sensing relay that came with the unit. TYIA

It wasn't the Humidistat. It was the location of the humidistat in the return duct. Not enough of the return air was passing over the sensor. It seems I had mounted the humidistat in a sort of dead air zone (I checked the airflow with a anemometer). Thank you for your reply.
