Small company, but 80% commercial & industrial. The interview went quite well. I should know sometime next week if I will be gainfully employed soon. Gotta drive the wife to her class, be back later.

Excellent! I will mark it on the calender.

Good luck otto. If you did bring beer I hope it was a sixpack. Otherwise the boss may think you are selfish.

Nope, no beer. We met at Denny's and drank coffee.

Seems like a good company and the pay and bennies are just what I would want. Small shop, though. He says they stay busy all year. It would be certainly more interesting in the scope of equipment that I would be exposed to.

Then while dropping off Robin at her class, the other company called and wants me to take the drug test. He's narrowed it down to 5 guys for the 2 positions and I'm still in the running. Also told me I did very well on the aptitude and mechanical tests.

Finally, I picked up Christopher from school after his gymnastics work. He told me he got a 95 on his math test.

    Pretty good day so far.

How NOT to drive. She made a mistake last year that has cost us dearly. That's why I have to drive her to the classes.

    Which company?

Maybe try giving Duo Temp a call, I know they do mainly commercial/industrial work.

Sent a resume to Jim Schultz at DuoTemp/Action Htg. He said they won't be hiring in the forseeable future and if they do it won't be for another couple of months. They're part of Edwards Engineering. That would be a good move, but if they aren't hiring, I guess it's a moot point.

Otto, they don’t waste money on drug tests unless they are going to offer someone a job. That is the last thing they wait to do. Sounds like you nailed it. I hope you get it.

Yeah I didn't catch that, seems like you do already have one foot in the door, ya may have just got yourself a new job, maybe you'll be starting Monday.

    Good Luck.
