I was thinking the same thing, so start one here.

Young, I wish. I just never was one to go to the movies, or sit around the house and watch.

Gregory Peck? Wasn't he in To Kill a Mockingbird? We had to read that book in high school and then watch the movie. I always slipped out of the movie and went the store and got soda and Doritos.

A few years ago I ran across it on TV and decided to watch it, that was a great movie. Never read the book either. I think I failed English that year. LOL.

Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot also were in some great westerns. They have video 'collections' not very expensive, I found mine in the bargain bin at walmart. Easy to google "name and collection" and it comes right up.

Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin made an endless string of some of the best comedies I have ever seen, but have not seen one in probably 20 years.

The 3 stooges were arguably some of the best stuff ever made, but I don't care for it too much as it reminds me of work even though there usually only 2 of us.
I draw all my schematics in crayon now. If they cannot always be correct, they can at least be colorful.

Service calls submitted after 3PM will be posted the next business day.

I am not in business to make money from other people so that I can afford to work for you for free.

If the fall is over, mmmm let's say, 6 feet or so,.. I do not 'bounce' very well.

I started a thread in General about which 10 male and female actor’s bodies of work you would choose to keep if all other films were gone; it got very little attention.

I love old movies and have over one thousand on DVD.

Gregory peck made a huge number of movies not as many as the Duke but still; I think the Duke has the most movies by one actor certainly as the lead.

On AMC today after Sons of Katie Elder you have Rio Bravo and then True Grit. On TCM at 4:15 is the FBI story a pretty good Jimmy Stewart picture and latter (11:15) a great very funny Cagney movie (his last) called One,Two,Three. It is about a Coca Cola exec in 1960 Berlin very fast paced and just hilarious.

The great thing about Sam and Tom is they made a number of movies based on Louis LaMour books (the best western author) and did not try interjecting modern day PC themes into the movies.

One of the best was a miniseries called the Sacketts back in the 80's beside Tom it had Glenn Ford and Ben Johnson.

Hondo was a Louis LaMour adaptation.

If you like the Stooges.....have you ever seen Peter Sellar's "The Party"? OMG, is that a funny movie. If not, try and rent it. It was the first movie I ever purchased. Loaned it out to a friend a few years ago and never got it back. Some friend.

Jerry & Dean were great together to bad they broke up, Jerry did some funny stuff latter but some of them he tried to hard. TCM or FMC is going to have a Jerry marathon in the next few weeks.

Dino made some good movies on his own including some good westerns, his best Rough Night in Jerhico with George Peppard and Jean Simmons.

Don't forget African Queen with Bogie and Hepburn. The book African Queen was written by C. S. Forester. He also wrote the Horatio Hornblower novels which were made as movies by A&E Home Video and are available on Amazon. The movies are very well made and very exciting. I consider them better than many newer theater releases. We recommend them to others.

African Queen is a great movie both Bogey and Hepburn made great movies.

The Hornblower series on A&E is very good, Gregory Peck made a good movie with Virginia Mayo (beautiful woman) about Horatio Hornblower.

I know the Louis Lamour connection, that is why I bought them since I have read every one of his books I think at least twice. Good movie, the Sacketts, and Conager is also first rate.

Not the best bargain shopping, but a good list.

Watch Rio Bravo this afternoon and you will see one. He made several with Frank Sinatra most were funny but in Rough Night he plays the vilian.

A great Duke movie that does not git much play is Donavans Reef with Lee Marvin others are Wings of Eagles based on a true story and IN Harms Way.
