sealed cap
can i replace sealed capacitor on condenser fan motor ,or do i have to buy new motor

It was a casing around the 3mfd capacitor.I had to pry it apart

if it was a good cap i think you broke it.

I'm also confused as to what you mean by "sealed cap".
Does it look like this one?
They're standard oval run caps which fit into a split steel enclosure. I've replaced a number of them lately.
