What do the pros reccomend for programmable thermostat

I have a single stage furnace and AC (Lennox ML 193 furnace and Keeprite CXA6 AC). I currently have a builder supplied Robertshaw 5000 series programmable thermostat installed. I'm wondering what is a good thermostat that you guys would recommend for a single stage system. There is no humidifier but I have a Vanee HRV that is connected to the return air ducts.

The best money can buy. YOU HAVE A single stage furnace. What you have is fine.

i see no issue with your tstat as well, unless you want something else just for ease or for kicks..... in that case, you have about a thousand options

That is not programmable. A Pro 6000 is programmable. I myself prefer Honeywell products because of their ease of use. I think the algorithms are better, the button response is better, and they last longer.
