Kansas City has a parade every August downtown at the Barney Allis Plaza. It's put on by a local radio station in honor of Elvis Presley. It gets bigger every year.
They always try to find someone cool to be the Grand Marshall of the parade. A few years back (can't remember exactly when), they had Grandpa Munster. They always have the GM at the radio station for the morning show for interview and questions. He was a trip. Funny to listen to. RIP
