Hi there!
just wondered if anybody had any of these Swedish granite radiators at home and could tell me the inconvenients, if they work well and if they are worthy. I know there's a company called LVI that makes them.
would really appreciate the users opinion.
many thanks for your time!
regards
Esther

never heard of them --
however, if they are made of stone, then their mass must be heated by some source -- same as with oil filled radiators & heavy cast iron stoves, or heavy stone stoves -- the only advantage is that they are slow to cool down
likewise for heavy fireplace inserts -- their advantage is usually that considerable of the insert sticks out into the room & most of these have circulating fans
in other words, there will be no cost savings during operation, just more expensive to buy, than say a $35 500watt elec heater -- which type has been used by my family for 70+ years
oh, yeh, such looks fancy!harvest rainwater, make SHADE,R75/50/30= roof/wall/floor, use HVAC mastic, caulk all wall seams!
