I dunno, Holmgrens' a pretty good Super Bowl coach, he's got a few under his belt, knows how to produce some championship teams.
Nonetheless, it should be pretty interesting, I'll enjoy a good match-up.

The Superbowl sucks when your team isn't in it. I'm putting my money on the Steelers.
But it would be the American Way to see an underdog team like the Sea Hawks jump in there and spank the Steelers. Now that would be something to watch.

Local Detroit Media, National Media, The Governor amongst others all over the celebrity map are really cranking this up here. It's kinda neat to start watching the news. I have not seen that much go on downtown since I have lived here, and they say each day it builds and builds.
Anyway. It's super funny how one sided this is here with coverage. The Seattle Seahawks have been barely mentioned.
Betis and Foote are from here and so I guess everyone in the area is pulling for Pit for that reason.

I doubt the Steelers will be spanked, the last few teams they beat I think their qb's ended up on the ground for most of the game.
Pitt is down to earth, blue collar type team. Seahawks owned by rich computer guy with fancy private jets and limos. Dan Rooney lands in Detroit, no chauffer, no limo, just a buick he had rented which he drove himself to the hotel. I think most of America still appreciates that kind of guy who runs an organization that doesn't put up with the TO's of the world. We don't even have cheerleaders.
We do have a pretty damn good football team though.

the Rooneys live on the northside . nice house but not anything special. they are down to earth people. Art used to walk to the stadium on game day!
Seattle isn't any pushover though. This should be a good one!
Seahawk.........Tastes like chicken !

You're full of crap on that analysis but go Steelers. It probably cost close to a billion dollars to own a NFL team and the blue collar line is just pure bull **** but good for a laugh.Originally posted by Diceman
