Heat exchangers in ov 210 m1b
I am curious about realistically rebuilding a blown out heat exchanger in an ov210 m1b rack oven... very clean otherwise. Also made me wonder what could have possibly caused what looks like a small explosion...

Depends on what you want to spend....Probably cost about as much as a used KIA Rio (Sorry, no pricing) to repair the oven. Compared to a loaded new F150 to replace it with a new oven. The installation headaches will be about the same though. As to why the HX burned out in the first place, generally it is due to poor combustion caused by lack of maintainance or the convection fans were running backwards for a period of time. Personally, I would fix it if it is in good shape otherwise. The OV210 is a pretty bulletproof unit.
