Bacnet Spyder NV problem
I have a small stand alone job with three BACnet Spyders, one for AHU, and the other two have 3 reheat zones each. I am trying to keep this stand alone and the only thing that needs communicated are occupancy, and Zone temp for night setback.
Problem is, the network variables that I created are not showing up when I go to Spyder BACnet link Manager, or if I try to link on the wire sheet. I have tried generating Network Objects, fetch Object names. I tried deleting the points downloading, and then recreating points. Same results.
The thing that gets me is if I discover proxy points they are all there and can be pulled out. Don’t was to put a Jace on the jobs because I shouldn’t need it.
Any ideas? What am I doing wrong?

So i setup a couple Spyders on my Webstation, made a couple Network points and tried to connect them.
If i try to learn network links, i dont get anything. If i go to the Bacnet network wiresheet and connect the Spyders, i can make the link. Then when i go back to the Spyder Bacnet Link Manager, there is the link i just made.
When you create the points do you use the Object Configuration View? When you set them up are you defining them as Inputs and Outputs correctly?
Should work fine, I think you may just have to dig into your network objects a little more. The only way i was not able to make the link was when both are setup as inputs or both set as outputs.

CB Matt is right. You can Also Take what you have already and instead of using the Configuration View, you just right click on your spyder in bacnet network tree on the left and go down to actions > Generate Network Objects. On the LON spyders this generate network objects happens automatically when you download. Not the case on bacnet Spyders. You have to do it manually. After you do the "Generate Network Objects" and go back to make the spyder links, they will all show up.
At least with Bacnet Spyders your not stuck in the network configuration screen for days trying to match up SNVTs.

Found the issue. I had them defined as network setpt's. Changed them to Network Inputs and they are exposed for connection. Thanks.
