since it is hard to find entry level employment in chicago,il. i had to result in getting another job at o'hare airport working in the warehouse fulltime. i am also wanting not to give up on heating and air.. although i got two months experience as a install helper, i can not get anything with that.. my question is would anyone know of any shops(either small or large) out in chicago that have part time employment for helpers..doing at least one job a day or something, i really do not want to give up on hvac..i give great respect for this trade, i try to stay humble. i want to work around the airport job. i would deeply appreciate of any suggestions...

look into who maintains that airport, there must be plenty of service/maint.going around there run by the City of Chicago or the state.forget the "part time" thing....dive in and go full time HVAC.the sooner you get experience the easier the jobs will come up...put out a resume or call some of these with a follow-up in the spring http://www.mepatwork.com/JobSeekerPa...teList/IL.aspx

Join RSES> They have meetings right there by O'Hare and it's a great way to get to know people in the trade. Soon spring will be here. Love will be in the air and shops will be looking for help.
