Hi..I have recently emigrated from England to the USA and live in Muncie Indiana for my sins, I have been in the refrig/ac commercial/light industrial industry for about 28 years, could anyone tell me what EPA certification i would need to be able to work on all plant sizes, do they have an EPA that covers everything and also would i be able to just sit the test.

I have a City and Guild safe Handling of Refrigerants certificate from the UK wich is a one week course with hands on training, testing and written testing, would this certification be recognized here in the USA.

Thanks to anyone that can help

Universal EPA Cert. is all you need to work on any size unit and any refrigerant.

I believe the "Universal" card covers everthing except Automotive. That is a separate test/license.
