Did you see her reaction upon receiving her sentence. Sobbed & stated Wendy's was her family's favorite fast food resturant...Trouble is she will be out to soon..Also a few days ago she was recorded in jail telling her sister to sell her house and not tell her son. Just put him out on the street. She thinks he ratted her out. Cops say he did not

I don't even know any women from Chili! My doctor gave me six months to live, but when I couldn't pay the bill he gave me six months more.

Good....might be a message to future wackos.
If everything was always done "by the book"....the book would never change.

Good, I am not sure that is long enough to send the right message.

hmmm rapists and child molesters get the same kind of or less sentences hell kill some one with your car and its less time in the pokey
This is more about the rich people, and corperations and authority sending a message to the great unwashed to behave and don't try to rip us off or we will punish you worse than if you have done something really serious.
this just smacks of injustice I hope the sentence is appealed.
Its not that I actually care for the people its the way "justice" is metered out.
What happened to all the execs whom caused the enron collapse or the nortel collapse ? did they all get jail time did they get 10 yr sentanences?

Penguin,
I agree a lot of people get light sentences. But she hurt a lot of people. And the people she hurt were not rich but making low wage. Wendy's had to cut hours of their employees through out the country, but more so here in Santa Clara county. We go to the Alma street Wendy's and these are good hard working people they did not deserve what that woman did to them.Old snipes don't die they just loose their steam
