Siemens Insight

First off....very limited experience with Siemens.

Got a newer building with Siemens Apogee controllers. It's tied to a front end running Insight. They have some minor problems with programming. So I spent some time on the front end. I'm able to change/configure points, but when I go into PPCL editor....the only programs I see are for other sites.

I just need to make a couple changes on the controllers. Let's no even go into getting Siemens out. Is there a way to upload the controller database's, to make changes, like other systems?

Do you have full access? In other works do you have config/edit to program editor and all access groups. You can check in the user accounts application. If so then you can upload the panel databases with database transfer and should see them in program editor.

Also make sure that when you open program editor and goto the menu Program => Open that in the object selector window that your not filtering out the programs you what to see. In the bottom of object selector the Names field should be *, the Type field should be PPCL, and the Panel field should be <ALL>.

Didn't check to see if I had full access. I just assumed, because I was able to pull up and change the programs on there, for other sites.

It sounds like I just need transfer the database. I'm remotely accessing the cpu with Insight on it. And it monitors 5 locations.
