    prince castle

Hey guys I need a little help

    I looked at 3 m# dhb-bk3z s# w0000371
These are a prince castle product holding cabinet.

Of the 3 none would get up to the 210 f temp setpoint. One did have one bad heater and obviously that section was cooler than the others, but other than that all other heaters seemed fine and the temp displays all showed within 10 degrees of what we were actually reading with a thermometer.

My question does anyone have any additional info? When I called the mfg they said the units would run all the way up to 275 and that 210 should be no prob. I guess I just don't understand what I'm missing? All the heaters are working and it won't pull temp

    Any help would be great

    they are in a bk.

the thing is they show no faults/alarms they just wont get to temp.

i called prince castle again and was talking to a tech and he told me i needed to talk to a gal named cory but she was at lunch. she called me back and was extremely helpful.

we ended up talking a bit and then i am going to call her from the site in the next day or so to go through some programming stuff.

On any problem you need to find out which part is broke then fix it.

    Sounds simple and it is.
If your box is set at 275F, and stopping at 210F, thermostat should be closed.
A amp clamp goes a long way toword finding where the voltage stops.

The hard part is figuring out why that part broke.
If the superheat ain't right it ain't charged right.
