I don't know if endocube works or not. I watched that video though and all I got out of it was that I hate the chick who's talking. "Now will this be great for the environment? Absolutely!" ...yuck.

That would be a great screen name for this board. "ThermalInertia"

One of these day's I'm going to work that word into one of my slips.

Even better, this is the next statement.
"this could be a massive breakthrough in both the energy saving and food safety sectors for refrigeration"

That is a modification of an old idea. I saw that idea used back in 1990 and the cabinets had to be 20+ years old.

some stores have been requesting to have these installed. I've done quite a few in the last couple months along with new temp controls. i understand the idea behind it but do not have any factual evidence they save money but someone up in the corporate office believes they do

Apparently the demand for them was so overwhelming they had to shut their website down temporarily. Must not have been able to keep up with the orders

    Same old posts and arguements

I have seen the same arguments elsewhere. in fact some reputable engineers defended and other didn't. I have seen the product and work well in some areas but not so well in others.

I just think it is funny how so many get irritated about technologies or products and gadgets, but in time they end up using something similar or the actual product.

If my clients asked me if they should install them, I would like to see proven facts. and I would need to monitor the equipment myself before making a jump onto something know one really has concrete evidence on. Where did the person pay $300 as I though they were less.

Bunny, until you have tried the technology. you will never know. All engineers don't like change.
