    Worthington Recip

Anyone know where I could get a rebuilt Worthington recip compressor or have one rebuilt? Are parts still available? From whom?

I would bite the bullit and replace it with a Copeland.

Do away with the issue of belts, shaft seal, and the "where to find Worthington parts" issue that you're having right now.

    Thanks Fellas.

That's pretty much what I recommended to the office and the customer. I recommended a new chiller, as the one in question is circa 1964. 'preciate the help.

    Worthington

    Good morning.
We have parts in stock. Is it a semi hermetic or an open drive (yes, they did make both). What is the model number? Is it a 2J, or a 2V, or a 3V? Years ago we did 6HF6 Worthingtons for Theaters in downtown Detroit. Send me an email and Ill try to help.

You could try Brainerd Compressors. I can supply you with a phone number to directly contact a friend of mine there if you want. PM me if want the number.
