    Harman Accentra Insert Ash

    Just wondering if there is a recommended amount of ash on the Harman Accentra Insert fire box lip? I have the feeder set to 3 1/2 and the temperature will vary.

    depends upon the pellets you are burning but it will either run correctly or shut off if your feed rate does not match the quality of pellets. Experience will tell. You have a top quality insert. Follow the mfrs instructions and get qualified annual service.

    The company that installed it provided a detailed start up which was helpful. So much better than the vent free gas appliance it replaced!
