im not gonna be biased here but, our closest lennox dealer is 400 miles away so i have to wait on parts , just something to think about.
also the installation is the important part , whichever company you are leaning towards should be checked out Thoroughly and heres a few things to ask them :
what are the warranties , both labor and parts?
whats the expected life of the unit?
( get these two answers in contract , written and hold them to it!)
also,
what is their required maintenance to up hold labor or extended labor warranties?
(this should be in writing also !)
do they have any references or customer satisfaction surveys you can read over ? they should have at-least 3 , i rotate them out from time to time.
if they act reclusive on any of these subjects then ditch the co. and keep looking...
there is nothing worse than having a unit break down 3 years after the install, and the installing co. either
A.) no longer in buisness.
B.) doesnt cover warranty work with out maintenance being kept up.
C.) can install like a golden champion , but cant fix it !
these are some things to consider when buying any thing cars, boats, appliances.......
