Are you talking about the book titled: The Color of Water: A Black Man's Tribute to his White Mother ? I don't see why you would want it for apprentices. Is there an HVAC related book by the same title? Anyway, if the above book then it's available used even cheaper:

    http://dogbert.abebooks.com/

and search by title in quotes

I know what you're talking about

But I lost my copies. It was a course Peerless boilers gave called "The Color Of Water". I Googled it like you probably did and all I came up with was that J McBride book. You should get in touch with Dan (the man) Holohan about a basic hydronics class. Or that other guy Seigenfalder? something?

    The Color Of Water

You might try here. This is an order form from Peerless.

The book is on piping and designing hydronic systems. (unfortunatly has the same title as an unrelated book) I have checked all book stores with no luck.
