Where did all the missiles go?

Gee, nobody thought this would ever happen? Now we have a huge problem on our hands.

    This is a huge story!

I would wager that these are US missiles for the most part because of the fact they wont mention there origin.

20,000 of these things loose on the market in a region filled with crazyass towel heads is insane.

The incompetence is of legendary epic proportions.

Guess it won't be viewed as an issue until civilian airliners start dropping like ripe apples from the sky...

It was reported this week that thousands of shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles, including almost 500 advanced Russian-made SA-24s (known in Russia as the Igla-S, and by NATO as Grinch), were unaccounted for in Libya, having gone missing from a looted regime arms depot.

The Russians were better buddies with Gaddafi.

Peter Bouckaert of Human Rights Watch first warned about the problem after a trip to Libya six months ago. He took pictures of pickup truckloads of the missiles being carted off during another trip just a few weeks ago.

I think I can say with confidence that those missiles went to someone who doesn't like the US much. What the skies over there!

I vaguely remember a month or two ago people saying Obama has no business in Libya. Let them work out their problems themselves.

The same thing happened when the U.S.S.R. broke up. Military leaders there were supplementing their no longer being paid by selling off missiles from these hand held types to larger missiles and rockets.

As far as these missiles getting into the hands of fascist Islamists who want to take over the world, they already are. The world has stood back and watched the Islamic Brotherhood take over most Muslim countries that were at least working with the U.S.

If you ain't seeing all of this as a buildup to escalating the third world war of Islam against the world, I suggest you open your eyes and take the blinders off.

So long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men — Voltaire

Constitutionally he did not have the right to commit our troops without congressional approval. That being said, I guess that is just another failure feather in his cap.
