Is carrier heat exchanger under warrenty - how can i find out

I have a 1997 Carrier 58MSA120... During the installation of a new AC unit my servicer found a whole in my heat exchanger... I read some things on line, but nothing definitive about carrier extending warranties to 20yrs or life..even some mention of class actions law suits.. In net, i am just trying to figure out if there is a warranty claim or not.. the carrier web site did not seem to help. pls advise. thanks

From what I see, the MSA had a 20 year HX warranty. Your dealer should be able to handle that for you. You would pay labor.
