Thermostat ?
We went to do a service call today. The house is huge The home owner wants to move the thermostat to his room because stays warmer there then any other place in the house . He already has 4 registers on the room. The problem is there is no way to run a stat wire to his room . Is there like a wireless thermostat that we can put in his room and do away the one he already has?

T-stats just tell the unit how long to stay on / to meet set point.
Is the heater size correct/what about heater output/cfm/ many factors
to check out .What is the temp. at the supply vents?
Good Luck

The way this house is built the trunk line runs in the basement and the basement has sheetrock. We tried closing other vents to help that room but he said that didnt help. we ware going to change the duct work and put 7 inch runs but no way to change it everything is enclosed I dont know if closing the return will help any.

Closing the return will most likely make it worse. Have you measured the airflow to that room? As others have said, moving the stat will make the unit run longer to cool that room which will make the others cooler.
