    Trane XR90 flashing light

Last year I had my duct work enlarged and a second cold air return installed. When it was done, I noticed that the flashing red/orange light through the plastic on the Trane XR90 no longer flashed.

Today, 10 days after service, the light was again flashing. No blockages in the pipe outside and the filter has 60 days on it and is clean.

Any ideas what a flashing orange light means? Any concerns for worry?

Air flow is still excellent and system heats and cools perfectly well.

Neither the air ventilation nor the furnace is running right now and the orange flashing light is still flashing at one second intervals. I supposed I had better visit my HVAC guy this a.m. Something isn't right here.

It should be flashing at a timed interval; 3 flashes pause 3 flashes pause etc.

one through 9 and match to your fault code on your unit

I didn't put that in because he said it was not working and I thought when he read the codes that he would read that. But that note is good to have out there.
