    year of furnace

Hi I'm trying to find out the year of a furnace we're thinking of purchasing. Not sure this is where to post this question but here goes.
    Model number: LBM075 DBR VU
    Serial number: 983358702
    BM-NO. 01800002
    Underwriter Laboratories of Canada
    ULC Oil-Fired Furnace NO. 1775

Any help for the year of this make and model would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    found something

Ok seems Underwriters is an inspection of some sort of this furnace....if the site I just came from is correct, this furnace was made in 1998 in the 33rd week...does that sound correct?

Yes, that is correct. The first 4 digits of the serial number are the year and the week of that year that it was manufactured.
    It's not rocket-science...

    It's electromechanical thermodynamic engineering

If it's used, who will install it?
I've discovered a natural law - everything gets progressively worse. Things only break down and become depleted. Life isn't worth living and everything is going to hell.

Death is the messiah. Everything else is irrelevant and arbitrary.
