    Confused McQuay--High Head Pressure--Fan Cycling

We have numerous McQuay Commercial Condensing Units--The First Condenser fan comes on Immediately--The setting for the second fan is 290 PSIG--Why so High--Would it have anything to do with the Compressor setup??--Tandem--Dual Circuit--Thank You.

It is set this high for low ambient conditions so suction pressure can build up during the low ambient starts. Personally I have lowered this setting. If it is Micotech 2 {carel controller} the fan off/on can be set in fan setting page.
