insulation
Anyone know where I could look for information on what type and wall thickness insulation is required on a freezer running -20 deg. F.

What are your ambient conditions surrounding the piping?
Most manufacturers have charts for this.

Runnning through a plant which is only conditioned in winter. Needing only the suction line. Further research after posting thread found looking at a 2" wall, 1' only good down to 0 deg. F.

Make sure to get a good vapor seal on the insulation when you install it.
If not, it won't be insulation for long, it will soak up water and become a nasty,'drippy sponge.
