omapilot, so if I read your last post correctly there is really no need to buy any tools to use while going through the program?

Hey Shawn,
At Vatt we are given a complete set as part of the program. However those don't come in until the third week. Been doing allot of cutting so I jumped the gun and got me a good cutter. You don't need to do that if you just want to use the shop tools until yours come in.
Next phase will be totally different though!

I forgot you were going to Vatt. That is cool part of the program is they provide you with a set of tools. I do believe at Metro we will provide our own tools as we go through the program.

Yeah that is nice but you do pay for them! From what I can see with the other students they are good quality too. But on the other hand it is nice too when you get a list and can choose the brand/style that feels best to you.
