glassfloss is the name of the company, they only sell rolls of poly. So he must have gotten a pleated.

I read it as they had supplied Glasfloss poly filters...not pleated...hence the recommendation to go pleated with something in the MERV 6 or so area. He'll get a good filter action without restricting his system (that he was concerned about).

FYI, Glasfloss makes pleated filters...tons of different varieties...not just poly...
