    Line Sets

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried a corrugated lineset or know if this product exists. I was thinking about this while looking at corrugated water tubes for water heater hookups. This could solve some issues on hookups in tight spaces.

    corrugated linesets

1st thing to mind is oil return and velocity thru the pipe for refrigerant, tho I have removed plenty of the old plastic lined flexible ones that ge seemed to favor years ago...dont believe any are commercially available.

A corrugated line set would have to be a lot bigger then a standard line set, or it would have too much restriction. So the increase in size would counter any benefit you might get from it.
