protech fan control 42icm255
has any one used this fan control board?
i am thinking about replacing the mortex heat/cool box on an old coleman electric furnace with one, but before i do i just wanted to see if this board has had any issues or draw backs.

Protech is a Rheem product. Are they really reselling the ICM board under their part #? Scary. I've never been a fan of the ICM replacements for OEM boards. Have had some issues with that board and the 281/282 Carrier replacements.

yep! they are, I bought it at Ferguson here in greenville .
and its going in a electric furnace in a rental property of mine.
im tired of replacing these relays, switches, and molex connections on this unit.
figured this board would be a good candidate but, i haven't used one so........
what kinds of issues have you had?
what do you recommend besides a total strip - n- build of the fan controls?
it will not be replacing a OEM coleman board as this unit has several relays, rocker switches , and other goofy what-nots i have replaced time and time again.
