    134a adapters

Im looking for the adapter to go from the 134a auto jug to a regular 1/4 fitting gauge hose. I looked online and noticed the 410a adapter and 134a adapters are the same, 1/2 x 1/4....so why dont my 410 adapter fit? It appears the threads are different.

    Any quick fix for this?

Amazon... I got that adapter plus the automotive 134a adapters to recharge the car. The whole package was under $30 if I remember -- it was several months ago.
