Please make this job right!!
ordered a compressor from a trustworthy source and its shorter than the original.
original is : HRM058T4LP6
New is : HRM058UU4LP6
its about 2 " short in height "atleast"
Pipe sizes are right, and line up.
I got it raised on 2 x 2 blocks. Before I continue, I need to verify the tonnage is correct before I continue to lock this thing in....
Cuz I'll send this bch back in heartbeat if it aint right and collect OT on something else here in the plant.

Step #1 Get in touch with the Manufacturer...NOT the person you
bought the Compressor from! And find out what the different
Model Numbers mean.
I remember running into a Lennox Hot/Cold Deck RTU that had original Compressors with internal Suction Accumulators that ran at 0* Superheat. You could keep your hand on the discharge line!
The replacement Compressors did not have the Accumulators and required the TEV/Distributors to be replaced to run at 15* Superheat.
Couldn't keep your hand on the discharge line then!
Good Luck.

Understood...you're probably right. Didn't think of that.
I'd still be going to the Compressor Manufacturer's Tech Support for the answer.Jogas
